PTO Communication Committee Available Roles

Newsletter Coordinator

Work with the Communication Committee Chair to develop consistent PTO communications. Working knowledge of data processing, emails, formatting, etc. Collect all materials, articles, and submissions for inclusion to newsletter. Edit the same and ensure they are approved. Email newsletter to Villa Community on a weekly basis



Special Events Liaison/Communication Coordinator

Work to organize and execute Special Events Communications. 


Opportunities include:

  • Fun Run

  • Auction

  • Spring Family Event

Committee Captain

Work closely with the Communication Committee Chair (right hand man/woman).


Assist and advise the Chair on all matters of substance including:

  • Committee assignments

  • Agendas for meetings

  • Event planning

  • Budget planning

  • Represent the Committee in the Chair’s absence if needed

  • Take special assignments from the Chair, as needed

Commitee Member

Participates in completing the ongoing work of the committee:

  • Attends and actively participates in committee meetings, in-person or by conference call.

  • Accepts and completes assignments of work related to the mission of the committee as requested by the committee chair.

  • Provides input and new ideas for committee activities and directives on a regular basis
